Please provide your nomination(s) for the 2018-2022 ISBRA Board of Directors. All members of ISBRA in good standing are eligible to be nominated.
If you are unsure if a candidate is currently eligible for nomination, please see the following:
In accordance with the ISBRA Bylaws, two individuals will automatically serve on the 2018-2022 Board of Directors: Tamara Phillips (USA), the Senior Vice President of the current (2014 - 2018) Board of Directors, is regarded as President-Elect, and remains on the new Board during her term as President, and Rainer Spanagel (Germany), the current President, also remains on the Board as the Immediate Past President.
The Board is responsible for managing the business and scientific affairs for the Society. It is important to nominate candidates who are interested and willing to spend the necessary time to manage the Society well.
The nominator(s) must ensure that the proposed nominee is willing to stand for election and to serve on the Board of Directors if elected and must include a current CV or NIH Biosketch for each nominee. Each individual who is elected as Director shall be considered to represent the country of his or her birth or citizenship. Therefore, please specify in the nomination form the country that will be represented.
The Nominations Committee is especially seeking nominations that encourage a diverse 2018-2022 Board of Directors, i.e., balance of males and females, diverse ethnic representation, and the inclusion of both senior investigators and those who are mid-career. The Nominations Committee will select an appropriate number of candidates from each geographical region per the ISBRA Bylaws.
Please submit your nomination, no later than February 28, 2018.
